Let’s have some fun at the 14th Annual Cornhole Championship!
The Tiffin-Seneca United Way’s annual cornhole championship “Battle of the Businesses” will be held on Sunday, March 12, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at Camden Falls. This is a great opportunity to join together with some of our local businesses to support a worthy cause.
Not only will the winner have their business name engraved on the front of the Cornhole Championship “Traveling Trophy,” but they will have the distinct honor of keeping the trophy at their place of business to display for the coming year. Cash prizes will also be awarded for the first, second, third and fourth place winners.
This year, we have some exciting news as we expand the event to make it bigger and better than ever before! As in the past, we will be hosting a double elimination, so teams have four chances to place in the playoffs! Music, Snacks, and side games will all be enjoyed. Please consider being a sponsor for this exciting event!

HOLI-DELAYED RAFFLE - JANUARY 2023
Tiffin-Seneca United Way hosted their first ever Masquerade Ball & Art Auction at Heidelberg’s Great Hall on Saturday, October 29. For the purpose of raising funds for the 2022-2023 Campaign, Chris Lewis, Chair, invited the community to this formal event which featured both heavy appetizers and a seated meal.
Guests were chauffeured by The Renaissance and after a formal introduction by Lt. Jimmy Hughes, were encouraged to register to bid, view the forty pieces of silent auction items and donate to the 50/50. Following registration, the sounds of classical music filled the air as Kevin Buckland, an artist from Lewis Center, Ohio, created a masterpiece live before the audience.
After dinner concluded the dance floor was open for guests to waltz to the sounds of the professional quintet. Next, a fundraising game, boasting six jockeys on their inflatable balloon horses “raced” to the finish line to win a 50/50 split of the game’s proceeds.
The live auction kicked off with custom centerpieces generously donated by Tom Rodger’s, Payne Brothers Florist, and Barb Meyer. Artists featured included Sister Gemma, Linda Setzer, Suzanne Zielinski, Judy Fields, Heather Grover, Stephen Terry, Leslie Rohr Scherer. Tony Goodman and additional local artists along with many donated pieces were part of the silent auction.
The United Way would like to thank Bill Jones, Auctioneer, Chris and Sue Lewis, Sam Rumschlag, Jose Arias, Michael Distel, Tammy Herrig, Connie Griffin, Parkhurst Dining, art donors, The Renaissance and our 2022-2023 sponsors for making this event possible.
