Tiffin-Seneca United Way

Tiffin-Seneca United Way

As the Executive Director of Tiffin-Seneca United Way for the past 17 years, Ms. DeMonte has been involved with fundraising, donor relations, grant writing, annual gift campaign, business management, community engagement, donation management and special events planning and execution.  Her love of helping people has been the motivation that has inspired her work in the field of human services for over 27 years.

Prior to accepting the position at United Way, she was the Executive Director of the Seneca County Agency Transportation (SCAT) for 6 1/2 years. Working with a committed Board of Directors, Ohio Department of Transportation, many volunteers and strong community supporters, she was able to design and develop the non-profit agency for a coordinated transporation system. Because of her previous work as a Job Coach and Aide to people with disabilities, she was able to understand the barriers that many individuals with disabilities, and those of low income, face in their day-to-day lives. Building a transportation system to serve the mobility issues for residents of Seneca County with critical transportation needs was one of her most proud endeavors.

A native of Seneca County, she is also active in the Kiwanis Club of Tiffin and serves on the Board for the Paul M. and Lucy J. Gillmor Charitable Foundation, B.A. Seitz Advisory Board, and Seneca County Family and Children First Council. Pat is also an advisor for the Seneca County Young Professionals (SCYP), and a member of the Community Task Force, Morrison House Advisory Committee, Seneca County Community Council, Seneca Regional Chamber of Commerce - Ambassador's Club, and the Seneca County Area Human Resource Association (SCHRA).  She graduated from University of Phoenix with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business of Administration.

As the Program Coordinator for First Call for Help Jason is responsible for assisting individuals and their families with health, education, income stability, homelessness, and other safety net services. He runs the school supply program along with Christmas Corner, just to name a few. Jason has been involved in public, human and health services for over a decade.  He has worked in residential homes, drug/alcohol and mental health treatment facilities and most recently for Children Services in Sandusky County.  He joined the United Way staff in May 2016. Jason received his MBA from Tiffin University in 2013 and an MS in Psychology from Walden University in 2015.
